Thank you for a wonderful 2026 flying season!

We can look back on a wonderful year at the Salzkammergut Flight School: beautiful tandem flights, enthusiastic students, and group flying trips that we’ll remember for a long time to come.

Take Off Together and Discover Something New

At the Zwölferhorn, Schafberg, Loser, and Gaisberg, we were able to share countless special moments with our passengers. The weather was on our side this year and gave us many wonderful days of flying. Thank you to everyone who placed their trust in us—and to our fantastic tandem pilots who make these experiences possible!

There was also a lot going on in our training program: We had the pleasure of guiding many people through their first steps in paragliding and welcoming new pilots to our flying community. A big thank you goes to our team of flight instructors, who helped our students get off to a safe start with plenty of patience and clear explanations.

Our flying trips were the perfect way to round out the year: thermal flying in Meduno in the spring, coastal soaring in Sweden, and flying days together in Feltre in the fall. Thank you for being a part of it!

Winter Flights and Introductory Course Starting December 28

Tandem flights with the Salzkammergut Flight School are still available. Our takeoff location depends on the weather, snow conditions, and cable car operations—in winter, the Gaisberg near Salzburg is also an option. Starting in March 2027, we look forward to the tandem season at the Zwölferhorn once again.

Would you like to learn to fly? Our next beginner’s course starts on December 28, 2026. There are still spots available, and you can register now.

Here you’ll find all the information about paragliding training.
