About the flight school
This is us
The Salzkammergut Flying School was founded and successfully run by Harti Gföllner over 30 years ago. From 2021 – 2023 Andi Viehböck was allowed to continue the Salzkammergut flight school and since 2024 the Salzkammergut flight school has been part of the Salzburg OG flight school.
High training standards, ideal training grounds and state-of-the-art flying equipment characterize the Salzkammergut flying school. The theory room in St. Gilgen is equipped with the latest technology for interesting theory lessons, the practice slopes are perfect for the first practical sessions and the different high-altitude flying areas make it easy for flight students to collect many flights and start their flying career in the best possible way.

The team
Our pilots
We are very proud of our team of flight instructors and flight instructor assistants. It consists of experts in various fields: from BASE jumping and wingsuit pilots to glider and airplane pilots and paraglider designers, we incorporate the most extensive knowledge into paragliding training.
Thanks to our continuous training, we are always up to date with the latest flight technology and equipment!
