Welcome to the Salzkammergut Flying School – your paragliding school directly on Lake Wolfgangsee, at the foot of the Zwölferhorn, one of the most beautiful flying mountains in Austria.
For more than three decades we have been helping people from all over the world to experience their dream of flying – safely, professionally and with real passion.
What began as a vision of a small flying school is now one of the best-known paragliding schools in Austria. We combine tradition with state-of-the-art equipment, experience with a thirst for adventure and professionalism with genuine hospitality.

Our history
From the idea to the flight school
The Salzkammergut Flying School was founded over 30 years ago with the aim of enabling people to paraglide in one of the most beautiful flying areas in Austria.
A lot has happened since then: new launch sites, modern equipment, a growing team and hundreds of pilots who have found their way into the air with us.
Today we are proud to be one of the oldest and most experienced paragliding schools in the Alps – and at the same time modern, young and dynamic.
