The Salzkammergut Flying School has stood for the highest quality training and unforgettable flying experiences for over 30 years. Founded by Harti Gföllner and successfully managed for decades, the school was further developed by Andi Viehböck from 2021 to 2023. Since 2024 it has now been part of Flugschule Salzburg OG – a merger that makes our offer even more versatile for you!

Thanks to the expanded cooperation, we can now offer more training courses, more flexible course times and an even wider range of further training options. Whether you are taking your first steps into the world of flying or want to develop your skills with safety training and special courses – you will find the perfect training with us.

Our students benefit from ideal practice areas, state-of-the-art equipment and a highly qualified team. The theory room in St. Gilgen is equipped with the latest technology and ensures exciting lessons. Perfect training slopes provide a safe introduction to practice, while the numerous high-altitude flying sites make it easy to gain valuable flying experience.
