To take off together
As it is a well-known fact that shared joy brings double the pleasure, there can hardly be anything better than being out and about together on a two-seater paraglider.
With the tandem training you are also authorized to show non-pilots the boundless freedom of flying!
Our tandem training takes place in St. Gilgen: We start with theory lessons and the first practical tandem flights on the practice slope. We then complete the 15 high-altitude flights with the tandem. After that, a further 15 high-altitude flights must be completed with a paragliding license holder before the practical test can be completed.
Prerequisites
- Paragliding license or DHV A-License at least 24 months
- At least 240 altitude flights
- Pre-selection test (entrance test)
Training content
Practice:
- A flight together with a flight instructor
- Basic training on the practice slope to learn how to take off and land with the tandem
- 10 high-altitude flights with a holder of a paragliding license under the supervision of a flight instructor on the practice slope
- 30 high-altitude flights with a holder of a paragliding license, at least 15 of them under supervision
Theory:
4 teaching units in the subject areas:
- Air law,
- Technology,
- Flight practice
- Behavior in special cases.

€ 490,- with own equipment
€ 590,- with rental equipment for the first 15 flights
