Meeting point
For tandem flights on the Gaisberg above Salzburg, we meet directly at the summit of the Gaisberg. There you will get to know your tandem pilot and receive a brief introduction to the tandem flight.
The easiest way up is with the Gaisbergbus (line 151), which takes you directly to the top of the Gaisberg. Alternatively, you can also travel to the summit by car.
Already at the mountain, you enjoy your first impressive views over the city of Salzburg and the surrounding alpine landscape.

Take-Off
After a short briefing, your pilot prepares the paraglider. Just a few steps later, you gently lift off and begin to glide above the city of Salzburg, the Flachgau region and the surrounding mountain scenery.

Safe landing
After a beautiful flight with a view of Salzburg’s historic old town, we fly to our landing site in Guggenthal. Landing is simple: you stretch your legs forward while your pilot brings the paraglider safely to the ground.
After landing, your pilot will be happy to transfer the photos and videos from your tandem flight if you wish. Bus stops for onward travel to Salzburg or the Salzkammergut are just a few steps away from the landing area.

The tandem flight is booked directly online via our schedule. You can book additional options flexibly on the day of the flight – depending on the current conditions and your personal wishes.
If you want to capture your memories, you can add a photo & video package for € 35. If the thermals are good, there is also the option to significantly extend the flight for € 40 and stay in the air for up to 20-40 minutes. Those who like it more dynamic can be shown action maneuvers such as wingovers or spiral dives free of charge.

Important Information
Weather: Paragliding is highly weather-dependent, especially in alpine terrain, which means decisions sometimes have to be made at short notice.
Decision timing: In uncertain weather conditions, we inform you as soon as reliable forecasts are available. However, decisions often have to be made at short notice.
- Holiday: If you are staying in the area, we recommend scheduling your tandem flight at the beginning of your holiday to remain flexible in case of weather-related changes.
Availability: Please make sure you can be reached by phone at least 48 hours before your scheduled flight, so we can contact you at short notice if necessary.
Schedule changes: Flight times may be rescheduled at short notice due to weather or operational reasons. We will inform you of any changes by phone.
Launch Decision & Cancellation:
The final launch decision can only be made directly at the takeoff site. If a safe launch is not possible, the flight will be cancelled. In this case, we will offer an alternative date or refund the flight price if no alternative date is available. Any costs already incurred, such as transportation or access fees, cannot be refunded.

We meet directly at the bus stop on Mount Gaisberg. From there, we walk together to the take-off area.
Public Transport
Bus line 151 (Gaisberg bus) takes you conveniently from Salzburg city directly to the Gaisberg peak (final stop). The route runs, among others, from Mirabellplatz via Guggenthal up to the summit.
The bus scheduled to arrive shortly before your flight time is usually sufficient. If you have some flexibility, we recommend taking an earlier bus to enjoy the views from Mount Gaisberg at a relaxed pace.
Tip for overnight guests:
With the Salzburg Guest Mobility Ticket, you can use all public transportation throughout the entire state of Salzburg free of charge — including the Gaisberg bus.
Arrival by car
You can either park in Guggenthal and continue by bus or drive directly to the summit of Mount Gaisberg.

The bus stop “Volksschule Guggenthal” is located right next to the parking area. From there, bus line 151 takes you comfortably to the Gaisberg peak.

In summer, a light jacket is usually sufficient, as it can be a little cooler in the air. In colder months, we recommend warm clothing and gloves. Sunglasses are also recommended on sunny days.
For take-off, please wear sturdy, closed shoes with good traction—ideally sports or hiking shoes—as the take-off area is on a slope.
There is only limited storage space available when tandem paragliding.
You can easily take smaller personal items such as your smartphone, wallet or handbag with you. Please do not bring large items such as rucksacks, bags or suitcases.
What happens if the weather is bad at Mount Gaisberg?
We continuously monitor the weather and inform you as early as possible. If a safe flight is not possible on your scheduled date, we will reschedule your flight for a suitable alternative date.
If rescheduling is not possible, the full flight price will be refunded. Safety always comes first.
