Why Lake Wolfgangsee is ideal
The Zwölferhorn in St. Gilgen is our main flying area for tandem flights. The flying school is located right next to the Zwölferhorn cable car, the take-off site is easily accessible and the panorama over Lake Wolfgangsee is unique.
You don’t need any flying experience. Before take-off, your pilot will explain the procedure to you in peace. A few steps together are usually enough, then you take off and glide over the lake, mountains and the Salzkammergut.
Respectful care for international guests
Many of our guests come from Europe, the USA, Canada, Asia, Israel and the Gulf States. Our team speaks English and looks after guests from all over the world clearly, calmly and personally.
Family members can be present at the meeting point and, depending on the procedure, can also watch the take-off or landing. Photos and videos are optional.
Clothing, hijab and practical tips
A tandem flight is also possible with a hijab or headscarf, as long as everything fits securely. Comfortable, sporty clothing is important. Very long or loose items of clothing are not ideal, as they can get in the way during take-off, with the equipment or in the wind.
Closed shoes are necessary. Depending on the weather, we also recommend a jacket. If you are unsure, we will be happy to advise you before the flight.
